Ministry signs 2 contracts on protection of investment in mining
MOSCOW, Mar 29 (PRIME) – Russia’s Economic Development Ministry has signed two agreements on protection of investment into the mining sphere with investment totaling 209 billion rubles, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The projects encompass construction of a mine and an ore beneficiation plant in the Sverdlovsk Region with investments standing at 125 billion rubles, and development of an ore field in the republic of Bashkortostan with investments amounting to 83 billion rubles, the ministry said.
The mechanism of investment protection allows companies to reimburse spending on infrastructure and stabilize business conditions.
